Tirupati Balaji Puja is dedicated to the worship of Lord Venkateshwara Balaji. His abode is situated in the form of Tirupati Balaji Temple at the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Tirumala Hills which is about 130 km from Chennai.  This temple is believed to have existed for thousands of years and there are historical references that it has been patronized by many kings since time immemorial. The presiding deity of this temple is Lord Venkateshwara, who is believed to be the last incarnation of Lord Vishnu and it is also believed that His idol will stay in this temple till the end of Kaliyuga.
