Sun is the king of planets and established in the middle, Surya Dev Mahabhishek is performed when sun's rays fall on the Surya Yantra. As Bhanu Saptami is the most auspicious days among all Saptamis, people worship the Sun God on this day reciting Aditya Hridayam and other Surya mantras for good health and a happy life.
